Nicanor devotes its energy to feeding Cecil County residents in need: everyone from the working poor who can't make ends meet to the homeless.
What We Do
Our Food Pantry Program
We provide and stock food pantries at Cecil County schools — for kids and their families who don't get enough to eat. Donations of canned soups, pasta, tuna, and even ramen are always appreciated.
Hot Meals Program
Our meals program serves hot meals to the hungry every Thursday night from 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM at Bethel Lutheran Church in North East. Doors generally open around 3:30 PM. Hunger isn't seasonal — a meal will be there for you.
Urgent Projects
Nicanor feeds hungry people throughout Cecil County — providing food, clothing, toiletries, and whatever else we can. Donations are always welcome for our Support Pantry.
